Job Description
Disposal Site Manager/Operator – Rankin, TX Rankin, TX Client is looking for a supervisor for a disposal site that focuses on accepting and processing Tank Bottoms (BSW) from oil production tanks and disposing of the associated salt water and solids while selling the recovered oil. Several trucks per day arrive to the site to unload material and get a washout. Seeking a detail-oriented candidate in the oilfield disposal business. Duties to include: • Accepting trucks of material and unloading them into our frac tanks. • Testing the material using a centrifuge to check the quality of the material. • Mechanical knowledge in using pneumatic pumps to transfer oil between tanks, color-coding tanks, and general maintenance of the site including generators and compressors. • Daily reporting of all activities including the number of trucks/barrels received, writing tickets/invoices for the drivers, and keeping a constant tally of tank capacities and volumes of oil and water on hand. • This candidate will also need to manage 1-2 employees that will help him run the site on a daily basis. • Ideally this person will have existing connections to trucking companies/operators and can assist our salesman in generating new customers. • Hours of operation are 7a-7p with overlap between manager and helpers.
