Job Description
Bucking Operator OverviewThe Bucking Operator performs swaging/stress relieving and bucking operations in a manner to meet the production, safety and quality goals. -Will utilize a torque turn unit, verify job at hand (WO), Bucking on (OCTG) couplings, drifting, doping and capping. Responsibilities
- Maintain and clean swage/stress relief and bucking equipment and other material related to their operations.
- Safely perform swaging/stress relieving and bucking operations.
- Capable of reading and understanding written procedures and instructions pertaining to the swage/stress relieving and bucking operations.
- Maintain traceability by labeling all products as required by customer instructions, API requirements and STP procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience operating swage/stress and bucking equipment preferred.
- Capable of lifting fifty (50) pounds and working, standing and walking for extended periods in controlled, semi-controlled and ambient machine shop and manufacturing environments.

In his spare time, Christopher likes to remodel houses, exercise, and read murder mysteries. He also loves working in the yard and watching the plants he’s groomed grow, bloom and become something beautiful. He enjoys playing with his two Sphynx Cats, Cinnamon and Gnocchi and his dogs, Clover and Mulligan.
