Location: Odessa, Texas
Job description but not limited to:
- Set up, operated, and monitored CNC lathes and machining equipment to manufacture precision rods and components according to engineering specifications and production requirements.
- Interpreted blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings to ensure accurate dimensions, tolerances, and product quality.
- Performed machine setup, tooling changes, offsets, and adjustments to optimize production efficiency and maintain quality standards.
- Conducted in-process and final inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other quality control tools.
- Maintained tight tolerances while producing high-volume and custom rod products for industrial applications.
- Troubleshoot machine issues and collaborated with supervisors and maintenance personnel to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Monitored material usage and machine performance to reduce waste and maximize operational efficiency.
- Performed routine preventive maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep on CNC machinery and tooling.
- Maintained a safe work environment by following company policies, manufacturing procedures, and OSHA safety regulations.
- Consistently met production goals while ensuring quality, precision, and on-time delivery of finished products.
