Customer Service Job Description:The Customer Service Representative is responsible for performing clerical and administrative duties in an office setting. They assist by sorting mail, filing, answering phones, greeting customers, scheduling meetings, and restocking supplies. It is of the utmost importance that the person in this position be able to manage the internal exchanges that occur due to a rapidly paced environment. They should be able to share knowledge and experience and be able to easily collaborate with all employees in the department. Additional responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Answer incoming calls from our very important customers
  • Resolve any product or service-related issues; follow up to ensure complete customer satisfaction
  • Schedule deliveries, dispatch service technicians and/or route representatives to customer locations
  • Take payments and maintain customer records by updating account information
  • Handle collection calls and maintain financial accounts by processing customer adjustments when necessary
  • Prepare and maintain compliance and regulatory reporting (sales reports, month end reporting, etc.)
  • Input customers information into a database
  • Filing paperwork
  • Conduct credit checks as needed
  • Input payroll information into excel
  • Conduct quality reviews of financing paperwork
 Minimum Requirements:
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Customer service and multi-line telephone experience required
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Account collections experience preferred
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced fun environment
  • Strong work ethic (honesty and integrity are key for this position and to our organization)
  • Excellent communication skills including helpfulness and patience in dealing with fellow employees and external customers and vendors
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently

Christopher started in the staffing business 21 years ago working as a temporary employee. He was eventually asked to help out internally as a filing clerk and receptionist. He moved to recruiting within a year and worked a desk for 15 years before becoming operations director. Christopher loves being able to see everything come together and function well. He says it’ s like watching a well-oiled engine running smoothly. He’s a numbers person, so stats, kpo’s and financial evaluation give him that warm and fuzzy feeling… most of the time. Christopher studied business at University of Texas of the Permian Basin.

In his spare time, Christopher likes to remodel houses, exercise, and read murder mysteries. He also loves working in the yard and watching the plants he’s groomed grow, bloom and become something beautiful. He enjoys playing with his two Sphynx Cats, Cinnamon and Gnocchi and his dogs, Clover and Mulligan.
