Job Description
Midland, TX client is seeking:Delivery DriverRole and ResponsibilitiesDrivers deliver bottled water & R.O. products, selling to a designated customer base within a geographic area. Drivers will also build strong, lasting relationships with bottled water and salt customers by providing exceptional service, developing sales, and maintaining relationships to generate additional revenue from existing customers. Driver's also routinely resolve customer issues by identifying satisfactory solutions. They must be comfortable with a physically demanding, customer-facing, sales-oriented position. This position requires that you be available to work Monday-Friday and for some special events and weekends, approved by supervisor. In this role, responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Drives a company truck (non-CDL) to deliver products to customer according to daily route schedule
- Deliver and upsell to a designated customer base within a geographic area
- Able to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly
- Build strong, lasting relationships with bottled water and salt customers by providing exceptional service
- Build strong customer relationships on an on-going basis with the objective of continuing and renewing business
- Identify prospective customers through the assigned customer base to solicit new clients
- Develop sales and relationships to generate additional revenue from existing customers
- Routinely resolve customer issues by identifying satisfactory solutions
- Accurately complete all required paperwork on daily basis
- Offer new products and services at the time of established product delivery to result in add-ons to the account with additional product lines
- Occasionally resolve customer issues within established guidelines and partners with customer in identifying satisfactory solutions
- Regular workweek of Monday-Friday, and some weekends and special events, approved by the Route Manager
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Able to repeatedly lift 50 pounds or more
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude, and excellent communication and customer service
- Can speak in front of a large group of people
- Highly self-motivated and good work ethic
- Can work independently and in a team setting
- Excels at operating in a fast-paced, community environment
- Excels at building and maintaining effective relationships with employees
- Can exercise good judgment, and problem solving and critical thinking skills

Christopher started in the staffing business 21 years ago working as a temporary employee. He was eventually asked to help out internally as a filing clerk and receptionist. He moved to recruiting within a year and worked a desk for 15 years before becoming operations director. Christopher loves being able to see everything come together and function well. He says it’ s like watching a well-oiled engine running smoothly. He’s a numbers person, so stats, kpo’s and financial evaluation give him that warm and fuzzy feeling… most of the time. Christopher studied business at University of Texas of the Permian Basin.
In his spare time, Christopher likes to remodel houses, exercise, and read murder mysteries. He also loves working in the yard and watching the plants he’s groomed grow, bloom and become something beautiful. He enjoys playing with his two Sphynx Cats, Cinnamon and Gnocchi and his dogs, Clover and Mulligan.
