Client in Midland seeking:Inventory Control Coordinator  Job Summary:The Inventory Control Coordinator is accountable for managing assigned inventories through daily, weekly, monthly, and annual physical counts, requisitioning replenishments, and seeking alternative sources and materials when necessary.Maintains communication with internal customers, monitors supply usage and removes and disposes of obsolete or outdated products. The Inventory Coordinator organizes and leads staff in conducting periodic inventory counts, adjusts quantities and locations, records and reports discrepancies to management. Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the position is responsible for the management of all perpetual and par inventory locations as well as supplies received, stored and issued.Supervisory Responsibilities:

 Duties/Responsibilities: 
  • Meeting supply chain objectives
  • Managing inventory and filing systems
  • Performing complete inventory checks of all stock and supplies twice a year.
  • Assessing and improving flows of supplies
  • Ensuring all documentation related to inventory flows is complete, accurate and filed correctly.
  • Identifying, analyzing, and addressing gaps in inventory processes
  • Reporting to management

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards


  • Ability to accurately read and interpret design documents (drawings and specifications)
  • Understands how to research and locate manufacturer's product data and installation guidelines.

 Education and Experience: High school diploma or G.E.D Associates degree beneficial Customer Service experienceWord processing, database, and spreadsheet knowledge WMS Systems5S/Lean  Physical Requirements:Working in hot or cold weather conditions seasonallyRegularly required to stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 50 pounds.Repetitive motion. Substantial movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingersThe worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.#HP
