Client in Midland is seeking a : Sandblaster/Painter
Essential Job Functions | - Work under the direction of the lead painter.
- Prepare, clean and sand blast surfaces to be painted
- Assist painters in other tasks as requested. Keep work areas clean
- Attend required safety meetings.
- Other duties as assigned by manager – including and not limited to: helping mechanics as needed, helping clean up the yard as needed, helping out welders as needed, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities | - Must be familiar with painting equipment and sandblast equipment.
- Ability to mix and prepare paint following painter’s directions, clean and maintain paint and blast equipment
- Able to operate forklift and man lift
- Ability to use forklift and man lift, work at heights
- Ability to carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Bending, stooping, standing for long periods of time, and climbing
- High level of safety awareness
- Mechanically inclined
- Able to help clean, help mechanics, welders, and other staff
