Job Description

Now Hiring: Sandblaster
Odessa, Texas 
 
Job Responsibilities but not limited to:
  • Remove rust, old paint, scale, oil, and contaminants from metal parts using abrasive blasting equipment.
  • Use sandblasting pots, hoses, nozzles, and air compressors safely and efficiently.
  • Check metal surfaces before and after blasting to ensure proper cleanliness and profile for coating adhesion.
  • Tape or cover areas that should not be blasted; set up parts on racks or in blasting booths.
  • Load and unload any material
  • Sweep, shovel, or vacuum spent media; keep blasting booth and equipment clean.
 
Skills & Qualifications 
  • Ability to work in hot, dusty, loud environments
  • 2 plus years’ experience with Sandblasting
  • Physical stamina for lifting 50–75 lbs and standing for long periods
  • Forklift Experience
  • Experience with industrial tools and air‑powered equipment
  • Understanding of surface profiles 
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
  • Fast‑paced, production‑driven workflow
