Slickline and Swabbing Technician
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Slickline and Swabbing Technician to join our team. This role involves performing well servicing operations, including slickline and swabbing activities, to maintain and optimize production. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in challenging field environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slickline and swabbing units for well intervention and maintenance.
- Perform routine and emergency well servicing tasks safely and efficiently.
- Inspect, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow all company and industry safety standards during operations.
- Complete accurate job reports and communicate effectively with supervisors and clients.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
- Class B CDL with Air Brake endorsement a plus
- Must have H2S certification
- Must have Safe Land certification
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in slickline and/or swabbing operations.
- Knowledge of oilfield and oilfield safety practices and well servicing procedures.
