Is seeking a
Inventory Manager
Job duties but not limited too:
- Maintain accurate inventory of supply and products
- Maintain daily records for invoices and shipments to identify which products need to be replenished
- Designing and implementing an inventory tracking system for optimized inventory control procedures
- Create detailed reports for adjustments, inventory operations and stock levels
- Examine the levels of raw materials and supplies to determine shortages
- Document daily shipments and deliveries to replenish inventory
- Evaluating new inventory, ensuring it’s ready to ship
- Properly order new supplies avoiding excessive surplus or inefficiencies
- Analyze various suppliers to ensure the company is receiving the best cost-effective deals
- Supervise and mentor staff
- Hire, train and provide development opportunities for staff
- Develop inventory staff schedule
- Investigate and resolve inconsistencies with inventory
- Ensure a safe working environment
- Make recommendations to leadership about improvements in inventory life cycle
- Minimize inventory loss by incorporating best supply chain practices
- Any other duties assigned by upper management
Job Requirements:
- Strong background in warehouse and logistics
- Strong willingness to leave old ways and learn new as will start out in the warehouse.
- Must have valid driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- Computer knowledge and preferably warehouse software experience
