POSITION SUMMARY:
We don’t just weld metal – we build solutions and strong teams. We’re looking for a motivated Welder who can handle a variety of welding tasks, follow engineering drawings, and deliver high-quality workmanship. The Welder is responsible for performing high-quality weld preparation, welding, and finishing operations to manufacture and repair components for our equipment. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled but also a team player who takes initiative, contributes to a positive work environment, and is eager to grow with the company. This role requires the ability to read and follow engineering drawings, specifications, and other forms of instruction accurately.
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Welding & Fabrication

  • Perform various welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, FCAW, GTAW—depending on qualifications) to fabricate, repair, and assemble components used in company equipment.
  • Prepare weld joints by grinding, beveling, cleaning, and fitting parts to ensure proper alignment and weld quality.
  • Execute welding tasks in accordance with engineering drawings, blueprints, welding procedure specifications (WPS), and job traveler requirements.
  • Use fabrication tools such as torches, plasma cutters, grinders, and measuring devices to support accurate and efficient fabrication.

Quality & Technical Execution
  • Interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols, and specifications to ensure parts are fabricated to exact standards.
  • Inspect completed welds for defects; perform repairs or rework as needed to meet quality requirements.
  • Work with Quality Control to support fit-ups, dimensional checks, non-destructive examinations (NDE), and final inspections.
  • Follow all documented procedures to ensure consistency, accuracy, and compliance with company and industry standards.

Teamwork & Communication
  • Collaborate with fabrication leads, engineers, and fellow welders to resolve issues, clarify instructions, and ensure smooth workflow.
  • Communicate proactively when encountering missing information, quality concerns, or safety risks.
  • Support teammates by sharing knowledge, helping with material handling, or assisting in related tasks when needed.

Safety & Work Environment
  • Follow all company safety policies, PPE requirements, and safe work practices while operating welding equipment and shop tools.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace to promote safety, efficiency, and high-quality workmanship.
  • Report hazards, unsafe conditions, or equipment issues promptly to supervision.

Production Support
  • Meet production timelines while maintaining a high standard of quality and minimizing rework.
  • Assist in staging materials, organizing parts, and maintaining accurate documentation of work completed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts to enhance welding processes, safety, and team performance.

Other Duties
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned to support the needs of the team and the broader operations.
 
SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Up to 1 year of Flux Core and MIG welding experience; Hard Wire welding experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work under moderate supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with a team and contribute positively to company culture.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Desire to grow and develop professionally within the company.
  • Customer service-oriented mindset and professional demeanor.
 
 
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1 year of Manufacturing Warehouse experience. 
  • Commitment to a safety culture where safety is the first consideration before starting any task.
  • Good computer skills, including JDE, Microsoft Office including Excel and Word. 
  • Good understanding of Warehouse and Inventory Control processes/procedures. 
  • Solid analytical and planning skills. · Proficient in problem analysis and resolution. 
  • Ten years of hands-on accounting managerial experience.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen, motor vehicle and background check.
  • Professionalism, flexibility, critical thought process and creativity
  • Ability to learn and work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workflow.
  • Regular and reliable attendance
  • Follow all safety policies and procedures.
 
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
  • Must use personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe shoes.
  • Frequent sitting, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Ability to lift/move up to 20 lbs frequently and up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Vision requirements include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
  • Work performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, noise, and other standard conditions.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Sitting, climbing, or standing as needed.
  • Walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day.
  • Reaching, pushing, pulling, or lifting as required within limits set.
