Job Summary
--We are currently seeking a dependable, hardworking, and safety-conscious Yard Hand to join our team in Midland, Texas.
--This position plays a vital role in maintaining equipment readiness and ensuring our fleet is clean, fueled, and prepared for customer use.
--The ideal candidate will be willing to work outdoors, operate heavy equipment, and assist with a variety of tasks to support daily yard operations.
Responsibilities
- Wash heavy equipment and rental assets using a pressure washer in the wash bay.
- Fuel heavy equipment and ensure all units are ready for service.
- Safely operate various types of heavy equipment to move units throughout the yard.
- Transport equipment from the yard to the wash bay for cleaning and inspection.
- Stage and position equipment for Quality Control Technicians to perform inspections and readiness checks.
- Perform general yard maintenance and housekeeping duties.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and organizing equipment within the yard.
- Conduct basic visual inspections and report any damage or maintenance concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Complete all duties assigned by upper management as needed to support business operations.
Qualifications
- Experience operating heavy equipment is required.
- Ability to safely maneuver equipment in a busy yard environment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
- Ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment components and materials as needed.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment screening.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred.
